Discover the joy of creativity at this Intaglio Printmaking Workshop—a fun, hands-on day where no artistic experience is required. Under friendly, step-by-step guidance, you’ll learn how to prepare a plate, apply ink, and use a press to create your very own beautiful prints of moody, expressive landscapes.
Everything is provided for you, from materials to expert tuition, so you can simply relax and enjoy the process. A delicious homemade lunch and refreshments are also included, making it a perfect day out to try something new, meet like-minded people, and go home with unique prints you’ve crafted yourself.
The workshop is from 10am – 4 pm including a lunch break. There are a total of 5 spaces available, this course is designed for over 16’s.
Location: Woodbine Cottage, South Chard, TA20 4QH. Opposite The Golden Fleece B&B. Parking for 5 cars on site. Tea, coffee available.
Lunch will be a delicious roasted vegetable, olive and feta frittata, with salad. Homemade cake provided. Or you can bring a packed lunch.

wear old clothes you don't mind getting ink on. Aprons and gloves will be provided. Bring a sketchbook and pencil or pen if you have one.
Yes you can bring your own printed images (easier than working from a phone) I will provide plenty of resource material to choose from.
Yes, if a fritatta is not to your preference. Fine to bring snacks too!
