Discover the beauty of botanical painting in this relaxed and inspiring two-week workshop focused on painting flowers in acrylics. Perfect for beginners and those looking to develop their painting skills, this course will guide you through the process of creating your own expressive botanical artwork from start to finish.
Working from photographic references, participants will explore techniques including expressive mark making, layering colour, building composition, and developing fine detail. You’ll learn how to simplify complex floral forms, create depth and vibrancy, and bring personality and atmosphere to your painting.
Across the two sessions, you will gradually develop your own botanical painting, with step-by-step guidance and individual support throughout. By the end of the workshop, you’ll complete a finished artwork ready to take home — perfect to frame for your own space or to give as a thoughtful handmade gift.
